This is a wooden fish crate with lid, with red and black advertisement, ‘One Pound-Net Mother Ann brand…Gorton Salt Codfish…Product of Canada, New Brunswick.
The sides of this early relic are neatly carved and fit into each other. The front of the box reads ‘Bone-Out Georges Codfish.’
